Simple Life

I've always felt simple...the extras seem to be so much. A couple of years ago I went to a Hawaiian island to get away from the mainland for a bit. While there My Family and I had an opportunity to work on a farm for tent space.
We really enjoyed the experience. We watched the food grow rapidly. We hiked to the outhouses and showers...wherever we were on the land depended on which we chose.
Now, back on the mainland I have cleared some land upon family property to set up a tent as I make plans for a backyard playhouse retreat. I have been planting around the house and catching rainwater. I have harvested all around my neighborhood. We are able to do that because we go on walkabouts around town. On any given path we know what fruit we will be able to pick to save/eat or other plants to plant(drought resistant).
Yes, we are walkers and public transportation users too. We do get rides from friends and family too. I have no cell phone and get on the computer occasionally...more so now to make sure of the plans for our backyard adventure.
Thank you for letting me share this with YOU. Mos Infinite Blessings.
