My Reasons For Homeschooling

My reasons for homeschooling span about as far and wide as you can imagine...



I was told once that "kids are mean and nasty, so you should send your child to school with them to get used to it." I wasn't impressed with the logic that it is most beneficial to our children's development to surround them with the cumulative attitudes, influences, and habits of those "mean and nasty public school kids" as she put it.

Continue with my reasons for homeschooling.

I chose to homeschool for all of the advantages of homeschooling as well. I see it as the most freeing and rewarding way to give and receive education both naturally and through purposed and planned facilitation.



Your reasons to homeschool are valid, whatever they are. If you have decided to homeschool, be bold, and don't allow negative and misinformed critics to discourage or dictate to you how you need to educate your child(ren).
