Patience Is A Virtue

SBI! CTPM ProcessPatience is a virtue. Wait for things that you desire to arrive in their own good time.

The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty. (Proverbs 21:5)

A faithful man will abound with blessings, but he who hastens to be rich will not go unpunished. (Proverbs 28:20)

Countless times I have restrained myself from buying something and then, after a while and by the time I needed it, someone gives it to me. Or I find it at a much lower price, etc.

Yes, I had to wait, but I didn't have to spend money on it. If you are over-spending on frivolous things and not spending wisely, wait more and shop less.

Wait On God

I also used to make extensive plans for my life. I have learned to stop trying to figure out every detail and plan everything in advance and to trust God. I didn't just decide to do it one day. It took having my plans consistently detoured by God for me to understand that I don't know what He knows and can't plan for a course that is unknown to me.

God's Spirit will guide us if we let Him. Learn to walk by faith and follow Jesus even when He takes you in a opposite direction from what you had in mind. Be a revolutionary and follow hard after Jesus instead of your own plans or according to the ways and mindset of the majority in the world.

Patience is a virtue because it comes from having learned to trust God and move or not move as He directs. It's not always easy, but it's a simple way to view what to do with your life. :) Give God the reins and as a result you will have purpose and be fully alive!

We continue to delight ourselves in the Lord, give, serve, live by simple truths, and walk in provision and blessing. Even during the "wilderness" seasons of life or when we are dealing with change, we see God at work and understand that there is a purpose to every season.

Stop chasing the wind and worrying about "things". Chase the kingdom of the One True and Living God and the things you need will be given to you. Delight yourself in Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.

Learn the art of waiting and be more thoughtful. Discipline yourself and slow down. Enjoy life and be led by inspirational and simple truths.

He who is impulsive exalts folly. (Proverbs 14:29)

Good things really do come to those who wait! :)
