Steps to Begin Living Simply
You could call me a visionary and a dreamer. Living simply is at the heart of all my dreams and visions. Of course, Christ is really at the center, but I'm talking about the function and operation of my daily lifestyle.
I thrive and press forward with an inextinguishable hope. Once I get a clear view of what I want for my life, I work until I get it. After all, life involves a lot of work. It might as well be a labor of passion with goals in mind. Work on preparing a solid foundation to build (or rebuild) your life upon. Life isn't easy, but it can be made simpler. There's no use in toiling and struggling only to maintain a complicated and stress-filled life. Join me on the road to living simply. Stop. Change your mind. Simplify your life. I will do everything I can to help you do just that. I have experienced many struggles, but I have never given up! Persevering through my trials has made me stronger and a bit wiser. Creating or simplifying your life doesn’t mean you should always get what you want. I have learned to be content and appreciate every season of my life and every situation. My determination is NOT about having my own way. It IS about having a vision, identifying problem areas that clutter up my life, taking steps, and making changes to make it happen. No More Excuses When we feel out of control or unsuccessful in any area of our lives, we are usually convinced that we don’t have what it takes to get back in control. We tend to excuse ourselves by placing the responsibility and blame on someone or something else. The comfort we gain in making excuses comes from the belief that the bad situation we are in had nothing or very little to do with us. So, we’re off the hook and our dignity and self-confidence is maintained. Instead of taking any real responsibility, we assume that if we could have positively affected the outcome, we would have. The vaguely satisfying feeling of not being responsible is the comfort we take in making excuses. Truly, in that case we are just avoiding the inevitable. Someday, we will realize that we could have stepped up and been the needed agent for change. Is today that day for you? The bad thing about making excuses is that they hold us back and render us powerless. What happens to a person whose motto is: “The lack of order in my life is unfortunate, but I can’t do anything about it. My circumstances have a mind of their own.” They become hopeless and effectively build a dead-end wall all around them with their words and mindset. Too often we don’t realize the creative power we have. Here’s the key to
living a simple life:

I refuse to live my life under the circumstances. My hope as you explore this site is that you will find the inspiration, knowledge, and courage you need to do two things: 1. Identify the obstacles hindering you from living simply. 2. Make the necessary adjustments according to your needs and passion.
Don't allow excuses and doubt to keep you from pursuing your vision for your life. Follow your passion to overcome the "I lack the things I need" obstacle.
