Live Debt Free

Live debt free and be relieved of the burden of debt. Financial freedom is not about how much money you make, but what you do with it.

It's having your money freed up from debt and waste, not worrying about whether or not your needs will be met, and being able to give generously to others who have less.

All of the excuses in the world won't improve and really don't continually excuse your circumstances. If you have been managing your resources poorly, it's up to you to gain control.

Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. (Romans 13:8)

The rich rule over the poor, And the borrower is servant to the lender. (Proverbs 22:7)

A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, loving favor rather than silver and gold. (Proverbs 22:1)

The freedom that comes from owing no one anything but love is one of the simple truths that most needs to be held dear by people today.

Many people would love to have an excellent credit score. After all, what's better than an excellent credit score? No score at all as a matter of fact! :)

Dave Ramsey refers to the FICO score as the "I Love Debt" score. Credit scores are for people who build their lifestyle upon borrowing. Mr. Ramsey hasn't had a credit score for some time.

What do you have to do to not have a credit score anymore? From my understanding, just stop borrowing money and it will eventually drop off the charts.

I'm very much looking forward to the day when I can declare not only am I completely debt free (we carry a low home mortgage with good equity), but have no credit score as well. Now that would be cool!

Live Debt Free: Start TODAY!

Many people's aim in life is to be able to manage their loan and credit debt each month. Others with "greater vision" aim to only have "good" or expected debt (home mortgage and even that ol' car payment).

My vision and aim is much higher. That is having zero debt. It's not good or necessary to owe money to anyone. Interest payments are a virtual money pit.

Right now, our sole debt is mortgage. We have good equity and are determined with our next move to complete our goal of "owing no man anything but love".

Even an interest-free loan has some of the affects as an interest-incurring loan or credit. There is an anxiety and chain attached to you and your debtor for the life of the debt. It's not a good place to be.

Cash on The Barrel Head

The best way to live is to buy things as you can afford them and go without when you can't. Discipline yourself to make purchases only when you can put the cash for it right there on the head of the barrel, so to speak.

The problem is, if you manage your money poorly and use credit during prosperous times, you will find yourself in hot water, scrambling for the best credit interest rate in an emergency.

"That's easier said than done." Isn't everything? It's easier to say "Brush your teeth" than to do it, but if you want healthy teeth and gums, you do it! You only hurt yourself and your family by giving weight to excuses.

Have long-term investments and short-term, emergency savings. Spend your money more wisely and stop buying on credit. Quit pushing your financial limits and living in bondage to debt and stress.

Financial freedom is attainable. Anyone can live debt free and have financial peace. It's starts by changing your mind. Renew your mind and then begin making some smart moves.
