Health challenges, a blessing in disguise

Hi there,

I came to simplicity because I had mysterious health issues, the chronic fatigue that no one can figure out what is wrong variety. So I started searching for health answers.

I left my stressful job and searched for answers. I tried various healers and got interested in herbs, whole foods and healing with nature. For a while I was lost, feeling inadequate because I didn't have a career.

Through journaling, praying, and reflecting, I found out what I need to be happy. It's things like nature connection, spirituality, art and creativity, good food, and gardening. Life is not about a job!

Today, I don't have a ipod, cable TV, cell phone, or any gadgets. I have a small house and older car. But I have a food, herb and flower garden, and a good hubby; I go to the farmers market, cook whole foods, make herbal formulas and paint. And I listen to my body.

Yea! I am happy. And I'm creating a website on healing. Being an "infopreneuer" is a good path for simplicity. I can work around any health issues.

Thank you for your story. I have learned to accept life's trials with determination and hope. They are a spring-board for new insight and, often, new beginnings in life (If we do not fail to understand what they teach us). My husband and I have experienced much growth as individuals and a couple in our many years of life together. God is always good.

Take care.
