Anxiety Cures & Disorders

If you are overwhelmed with anxiety, I want to reassure you that there are natural anxiety cures that can give you immediate and lasting relief! I have experienced it myself.

Anxiety disorder is a blanket term covering several different forms of abnormal and pathological fears and anxieties.

Recent surveys have found that as many as 18% of Americans may be affected by one or more of them.

They are often debilitating chronic conditions, which can be present from an early age or begin suddenly after a triggering event.

They are prone to flare up at times of high stress and are frequently accompanied by physiological symptoms such as headache, sweating, muscle spasms, palpitations, and hypertension, which in some cases lead to fatigue or even exhaustion.

Common Anxiety Disorders

For years, general anxiety disorder consumed my life. My anxiety escalated from all of the stressful changes that happened in my life in a short period of time. I had a very difficult time dealing with change and developed many general anxiety disorder symptoms.

As I searched online for anxiety cures one night, I realized there was something I could do to naturally overcome my extreme anxiety. I applied this simple technique and felt immediate relief. Within days I felt like a different and renewed person.

Another common anxiety disorder is obsessive compulsive disorder. With OCD, the brain gets stuck on a particular thought or urge and just can't let go.

I have learned that about 1 in 50 Americans have OCD. This type of anxiety disorder can also be helped naturally, without medicine and a lot of money. As with general anxiety disorder, there are natural anxiety cures for OCD.

An anxiety disorder that leads to excessive clutter is compulsive hoarding. People with this type of anxiety need real help to be able to separate themselves from useless or otherwise needless possessions.

I know what it's like to struggle with anxiety... And WIN!

I understand struggling with a disorder. But I think we should search for anxiety cures, not slap on our "disorder badge" and talk about how bad we are all the time.

You don't have to adopt a victim mentality. Poor me, why me, I'll never be who I want to be... Do something about your disorder. Find a solution.

"What? You mean to tell me that I should be looking for all natural anxiety cures?"

Yes. And why not? Have a little fun. Search out solutions for everything you don't like about your life and see what you come up with.

Not happy in marriage? Apply successful marriage tips.

Distressed with being a parent? Learn good parenting skills.

Run down from health problems? Change your eating habits to a whole food diet.

You won't know what you can change until you try and find tools to help you succeed.

Prayer: Faith-filled or Doubt-killed

There is a difference between complaining to God, and praying simple, faith-filled prayer. God doesn't just respond to our need (or we wouldn't have any needs). He responds to our faith-filled words and actions while we are in need.

I don't think God just wants to hear about what we need Him to do. Instead, He wants to hear about what we believe He will do.

We should ask God for help and to lead us to anxiety cures and other solutions, but it is our responsibility to 1) Accept that we can be helped and 2)Take the necessary steps.

Now, with that said, I do believe that my understanding of who I am in Christ and my background of faith has empowered and taught me that I don't have to lay down and accept whatever life or genetics throws at me.

I do not have to live in bondage to a disorder or be hopeless, helpless, depressed, mentally unsound, and without peace.

Get In The Driver's Seat

In general, people love to talk about their problems. It's a very easy and natural thing to do. But, I challenge you to stop talking about your problems and begin talking to your problems. No, I don't suggest that you go from one disorder to another. ; )

What you say with your mouth, you breathe life to. Life and death are in the power of your tongue.

People often say things like:

"I always do this (bad or anxiety-driven habit) or "No matter what I try, I can't stop..."

I challenge you to replace those phrases with:

"I have a sound mind" and "I am not controlled by any ill-thought or "disorderly" urge."

This challenge is especially for Christians because we are instructed to speak to our circumstances and speak words of life.

Listen to yourself speak. What are you saying?

One of my friends has a one-liner at the bottom of all of her emails. It reads:

"Don't tell God how big your mountain is, tell your mountain how big your God is."

It would help us all if we had this kind of mentality.

Whatever type of anxiety disorder you may have, get in the driver's seat. Take courage and believe that you do not have to suffer and endure disorders for the rest of your life.
